Tamebi AI and Udutech Partner to Launch Benin’s First Private AI Infrastructure Hub.

Beninese AI startup Tamebi AI partners with UduTech to launch Benin’s first GPU-powered AI infrastructure hub.
Tamebi AI, a leading developer of localized artificial intelligence, and Udutech, through its Africa GPU Hub initiative, today announced a landmark strategic partnership to accelerate AI innovation across Francophone Africa.
The partnership introduces a dedicated tier of high-performance GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) infrastructure to the Benin Republic and francophone market, empowering local enterprises to build, host, and scale AI applications with unprecedented speed and data sovereignty.
Bridging the Infrastructure Gap
As organizations increasingly demand data privacy and localized control, the partnership addresses a critical need for regional compute power. Tamebi AI will leverage Africa GPU Hub’s infrastructure to offer specialized AI consultancy, custom Large Language Model (LLM) fine-tuning, and on-premise "edge" AI solutions tailored for sensitive sectors like banking, telecommunications, and healthcare.
"Our goal is to ensure that African innovators have the tools to build the future of AI right here in Benin Republic," said Danielle, Lead at Tamebi AI Lab. "By partnering with Udutech, we are moving beyond simple API usage to owning the infrastructure that powers our digital economy. This means better performance, lower costs, and total data privacy for our clients."
Empowering the Ecosystem
To catalyze the local tech scene, the partnership will headline the Cotonou AI GPU Hackathon, scheduled for Q2 2026. This initiative invites developers and entrepreneurs to build innovative solutions using the now available GPU resources, focusing on regional challenges in finance, agriculture, health, tourism, transport, and public services.
Key Highlights of the Partnership
Localized Compute: Direct access to high-end GPUs for Beninese startups and corporations.
Privacy-First AI: Deployment of physical hardware for high-security, on-site AI processing.
Market Readiness: A joint commitment to providing cost-effective alternatives to international AI providers, keeping data and value within the region.
"We are thrilled to welcome Tamebi AI as a flagship Solution Partner," said Alexander Tsado, CEO of Udutech. "Their expertise in model building, combined with our infrastructure, creates a powerful engine for innovation in Africa."
